Paul Mitchell The School’s instructors—we call them “Learning Leaders”—are trained to draw out the artist in you and then prepare you to compete in the real world. Rather than concentrate only on the basic training needed to pass state licensing board exams, every Paul Mitchell School provides you with a well-rounded lifestyle education. Because the Northwest Hair Academy is an official Paul Mitchell Partner School, we are able to provide our Future Professionals with a foundation of education that is built upon the Paul Mitchell hair care and professional development system. This system was developed with over 25 years of product and beauty school research to back it up. We take the best practices from corporate product research and development and give our Future Professionals one of the best education experiences available. Our 2005 license examination pass/fail statistics revealed that our graduates passed their exams at an official rate of 94.5%, while the statewide average was 85%. The Learning Leader pass rate average statewide for 2005 was 66% - our Northwest Hair Academy average was 100%. A Paul Mitchell education rocks!
